Pinch Me
So, as much as I wish this blog post was about some exotic location or awesome event that I just had to pinch myself because it was real… It is not the case. This post is about my first samples from PinchMe. It's another one of those free product sampling services. However, I am not fond of this service, as I feel it's really hard to get samples and you're not guaranteed a product.
The way PinchMe is similar to other companies that send out free samples, is that you have to fill out a profile. You tell them what kind of things you like, what you use, who's in your family, where you shop, how many pets you have, etc. The major difference (and in my opinion negative) is that you have to go in and accept the samples to your box at a specific time and day, or you will miss out and not get a product (which may happen anyways, even if you do everything right).
My first experience with PinchMe is when I signed up mid December, was immediately approved and had samples waiting for me to put in my box based on my profile. They said they would ship out in 4-6 weeks. I just received my box in the middle of February. So, I was not happy about the delayed shipping because it was well over a month and the time they said it would ship. I honestly did not think I was going to get the box at all.
Obviously, it ended up coming and these were the samples I was approved for:
I can honestly say that my cat loves the Purina One brand, and this cat food specifically. It has the regular hard pieces like other cat foods, but it also has these amazing little tender pieces of chicken. I don't know how they do it - it's probably some kind of beef jerky thing because it’s got to be cured in a way to not spoil. I mixed it with her regular food so she could get used to it first. She would eat all of the Purina One, and leave her regular food in her bowl and look at me and whine for more. I kept this up the whole time, and used the Purina One as a treat on top of her regular food so she wouldn't get spoiled. She was very disappointed when it was all gone, and she had to go back to eating her regular food but she has survived. I would definitely recommend this cat food! My cat is usually so picky when it comes to food and new foods in general and she had no problem snarfing this down. It is on the pricier side, but it's better quality for them and I'm sure is more tasty.
This Olay ultra moisture body wash is wonderful. It has a light fresh scent and is not overpowering. It glides on smooth and does not leave your skin feeling greasy. I used it for regular cleansing, as well as shaving. Both times it worked well and did not leave my skin irritated. It is also very moisturizing and even keeps the soft feeling after the shower. I feel fully hydrated and squeaky clean after using this body wash. I wish I had a bigger sample! Although, it is very affordable, especially if you get double packs or value sizes at Walmart
I have more to say about PinchMe as a company that offers free products, but this time around, it was all about reviewing my samples.
