Bell Sleeves for Fall

I have been obsessed with the bell sleeve trend since I first saw it. However, I only have one shirt that is actually a loose and flowing bell sleeve style. Probably because it stays warmer here a lot longer than other places. It doesn’t make sense to wear long sleeves until it starts to cool down. Well, it has finally cooled down, ladies! And I am super excited that I can finally wear some bell sleeve tops.

PinkBlush has the cutest bell sleeve maternity blouses available for pregnancy! And I love that these specific pieces can be worn after pregnancy as well. Check out two of my favorites below.

Olive Crochet Neckline Ruffle Sleeve Maternity Top

This lace green bell sleeve top is so cute. The material is a thick soft cotton, but there is a lot of it. I actually was a little surprised at how much material and how blousy this top is. I expected it to be a loose flowy bohemian style, but I did think the material would be a bit thinner too. This is the smallest size available in PinkBlush maternity, which is a Small. It is well-made, and the lace detail is so pretty and substantial. Some lace is really flimsy, but not this kind. I love the romantic details like the lace, ruffled stitching along the sleeves, and of course the bell sleeves themselves. This blouse is perfect for fall and winter. Plus, it has no maternity stitching, so it will hide any lingering belly fat and still be a cute, flattering piece to wear postpartum.

Navy Blue Floral Chiffon Ruffle Sleeve Maternity Top

Is anyone else a fan of blue? I love this blue, especially for fall and winter. I also love the sweet neutral flower print. The only issue I have with this top is the stitching around the elbows, it’s not elastic. I always wear a small in PinkBlush, which is usually still a bit big on me. That is not the case with this blouse. The only reason I would recommend going up a size in this top is because of the sleeves. I do some weight lifting, so I have more muscle in my arms than I have in the past. But I can barely get the sleeves to go around my upper elbow because they are stitched so tight. This problem could, of course, be solved if the sleeves were elastic. The chiffon material of this top is also not forgiving, which means there is no wiggle room. But, it does mean it's a more structured blouse, great for professional or nicer occasions. As this is a tighter shirt, it will be more fitted than some of the other loose flowing tops I plan on wearing after pregnancy.
