Accessories Can Make the Look

Accessories, such as jewelry, can take your look from casual to styled, in an instant. I usually don't wear too much jewelry, because I prefer a more casual look running errands and shopping. But sometimes, the pieces speak for themselves and can really take an outfit to the next level.

Of course, it can't be too much work to try to style these jewelry pieces, otherwise what's the point. Y'all know how much I love easy and effortless style! If it's not quick & simple for me to style or figure out what to wear with it, I'm not interested.

These bohemian pieces from Ettika are so easy to style! I already rock the bohemian/lazy look most of the time anyway, so it's not out of my comfort zone to pair these pieces with what's already in my wardrobe. I love that they can be dressed up or more casual. In this look, for example, I have paired their drop earrings and opal star ring with a fancier high neck teal dress.

Now, my dress is from Target (probably from many seasons ago) but I also found it at a thrift store. So the likelihood of you ever finding it, are slim to none. My heels are Steve Madden (which I snagged from 6pm.com back in September), but they are unfortunately sold out. Here are some very similar pieces I have linked below for you, if you're totally diggin my affordable mom style.

The other day I chose a plain black cotton maxi dress, and it created a completely different look (you guessed it - casual) but still worked with the same pieces. Even jeans and a loose/flowy shirt would work as well. I just love the versatility of these pieces as well as all of Ettika's collection! I even snagged the earrings when they were on clearance, for $12. Check them out for yourself bellow:
