Mix & Match Affordable Spring Capsule Wardrobe
Hey y’al! If you’ve been following along with me on Instagram you know I’ve been obsessed with Old Navy recently! They have been killing it with the sales this spring and I just can’t look away! I have found jackets, shoes, dresses and so many tops.
I’ve never really had a “basics wardrobe”, I just kind of get things as I need them. So now that I’m turning 30 this year I want to have a staple, base wardrobe that is easy to assemble in a hurry and still looks cute and presentable.
But I also don’t have a ton of money to spend on an entirely new wardrobe, so I’ve been waiting for the best sales, at Old Navy, and getting the basic pieces no wardrobe should be without. They’ve been anywhere from 20% to 50% off, and that’s been added to whatever their sale price is! I usually try to get them when they’re at least 35% off, but you just never know when their sale is, and I don’t have time to stock their website every day. I do not subscribe to Old Navy‘s email newsletter, because I would literally be shopping there every day if that was the case!
The only reason I would buy something at a more expensive price would be because it’s been low stock or it’s already been restocked once, and I don’t want to miss the piece. You never know when something will stop being stocked. And Old Navy is one of those stores that DOES price adjust, so if you see it cheaper (14-day window) just take your receipt in there and ask for a price adjustment, if it’s in store. It even works within the same timeframe on a previous online order, you just have to call and ask. There are some exclusions, so make sure you read their policy so you know what to expect.
Mix & Match Capsule Pieces
These are 12 pieces for spring that I’ve just been loving and there are so many different ways to wear them (31 shown here)! The modeled looks were my favorite pieces to wear together, and the flatlays are all the different ways they can be styled. It’s a mini spring capsule with a huge return! I will be working on a much larger capsule wardrobe once I have all my basic/staple pieces.
