The Best Halloween Decorations for a Dollar

Do you want to decorate for Halloween but it’s just one more holiday where you feel like you’re spending a ton of money? I feel that way!

Between matching family pajamas, pumpkin spice lattes, corn mazes, hayrides, pumpkin patches, the fair, apple picking, fall wardrobes, Halloween costumes… where does it all end?!

Styrofoam gravestone, skeleton “tongs”, spider webbing (with spider rings) all affordable Halloween decorations from the Dollar Tree!!

Well I have good news for you. It ends here! You can have Halloween decorations AND also not spend a ton of money! Today I’m sharing the best Halloween decorations for a dollar.

Is it just me, or is the Dollar Tree upping their decor game? I haven’t shopped there in years, then all of a sudden I find myself making a trip at least a couple times a month. But only since the beginning of this year.

Glow in the dark googly eyes, spider webbing with little spiders, large fuzzy spider and spider door wreath are all affordable Halloween decorations from the Dollar Tree!!

I tend to research “cheap organization” and “dollar diys” and things of that nature. So it’s no surprise that any store with the word “Dollar” in it is going to pop up. Thankful for those youtubers sharing all the wonders & hacks of the Dollar Tree.

Since I’m pretty much a regular now, I see their new stock pretty often. I was amazed at all the Halloween decor they had.

Like, it was a lot, but it was also pretty decent quality. And even if it wasn’t, it’s only a $1… I’m sure you’ll be changing up your decorations next year anyway.

Affordable Halloween Decor: All of these Halloween decorations are from the Dollar Tree! Only the orange hanging lights are from Walmart and the pumpkins & mums are from a local pumpkin stand.

Got 5 plastic bats for $5. One pack of spider webbing covered everything outside. Everything. One set of googly glow in the dark eyes = $1. Love finding affordable Halloween decorations for only a dollar.

I went, I saw, I left. Then I had this idea for a post about decorating for Halloween from only using Dollar Tree decorations… so I had to go back and purchase everything I just saw.

This is the result! The only thing that isn’t from the Dollar Tree are the orange hanging lights. They are from Walmart. BUT the Dollar Tree did have some Halloween lights!

My kids LOVE these Halloween decorations. They don’t care that they’re only $1. They don’t mind that I only spent $13 on this whole spooky, graveyard display. And you certainly won’t see me complaining about it!

My favorite easy affordable Halloween decoration from the Dollar Tree!! $1 styrofoam gravestone , $1 skeleton arms (actually tongs), $1 spider webbing with spiders. $3 is NOT a bad deal.

Front door Halloween decor! Just add some spider webs, spiders and pumpkins. Found the hanging bats from the dollar tree! Pumpkins & mums from a corner stand add a touch of fall coziness.

Don’t forget about your door! One of the easiest places to decorate for Halloween is your front door. Spider webs and a spider wreath are just spooky enough!

What do you think? Can you believe all these pieces are from the Dollar Tree?! Would you buy only Dollar Tree decorations for your holiday decorating? Let me know in the comments!

If not, here are some still affordable finds, but probably better quality and longer lasting. Definitely not as cheap, but you can still get the same look and hopefully use it for years to come!
