The Best Every Day, Comfy Casual Sneakers

I asked, y’all answered. I have my own favorite brands when it comes to athletic sneakers, but I wanted to see if other mamas felt the same or had different favorites. Here are the best every day, comfy casual sneakers!

Vans

Vans won by a landslide. Pretty much everyone said vans were their most comfortable sneakers.

And apparently they last for like 10 years! That’s a pretty great shoe!! I guess I need to get on the Vans train!

My favorite styles have been the most versatile in my opinion - the Asher Slip On sneaker and the Ward Lo Suede sneakers.

Adidas

Next up was Adidas, and I’m not surprised because they have this amazingly plush cloudfoam in the sole. I think it’s memory foam, just a different name, they feel wonderful. They make great workout shoes and running errands shoes!

I have the Adidas QT Racer, which I use for running but they are good for hiking and every day too.

The Cloudfoam Pure Running shoe is another good choice.

And of course if you want a classic, more casual sneaker, the Grand Court sneaker is what all the cool kids wore in 2006. Pretty sure they’re back in style.

Dr Scholl’s

The next favorite was Dr. Scholl’s because they also have a memory foam sole and a pretty decent platform. They’re not just orthopedic shoes anymore, they have some really cute styles these days!

The best ones are their Slip On sneakers for running every day errands and just being out and about. You can wear them with joggers, jeans and leggings!

They’re so easy to get on because they just slide on and the memory foam is so comfortable when traveling or walking around a lot.

Converse

Can’t have a list of the best casual sneakers without including Converse All-Stars! I have been wearing Converse since high school and they were my go to everyday casual sneakers.

I definitely would not work out in them, although some guys swear by it. They do not have any arch support, so I put inserts in mine. They feel a million times better with inserts.

Converse are fun because they have a ton of different colors and prints. My favorites are the classic high top and low top styles. I would also choose the white and black pairs over the other colors just because they will go with more things and you’ll get the most use out of them!

TOMS

TOMS were another contender. I have had one pair of TOMS and they personally were not my favorite. A little too thin and unstructured for me. But a couple people loved them, so I definitely wanted to include them in this list.

TOMS are very easy to slip on when getting ready and when you’re out trying on clothes, so that’s a definite plus!

They’re also not bulky at all, so if some of the other brands feel a little “big” or “bulky”, TOMS might be a better choice for you!

They come in a bunch of different colors and a couple different styles. Plus when you buy a pair, they donate a pair to children in need. So sweet! These were the favorites:

Nike

I’m surprised more people didn’t like Nike’s. I got my first pair of Nike running shoes recently and I was very impressed.

Mine are the Flex Experience Run 7. If I want to rock a more sporty look or I know I’m going to be walking around a lot, I will wear my Nike Flex. Since I’m a runner I have to replace my shoes pretty frequently and even though the tread is pretty much gone, I just can’t get rid of them!

Another recommendation was the Nike Free Run for waitressing because it has great support. I bet they’re also great for running!

New Balance

There were also a couple recommendations for New Balance. I haven’t worn New Balance since middle school and it was when they were really bulky.

They are a lot more sleek now. Here are some great casual New Balance styles:

Sketchers

I know a lot of people are put off by Sketchers, but they’re actually really comfortable with their memory foam soles!

They also have some fun bright neon colors which are really in right now. And a Slip On sneaker that looks like other top athletic brands.

Keds

I’ve always thought of Keds as the original, classic everyday sneaker. They’re not as bulky as the other brands and they are dainty enough to be worn with dresses and jeans.

Two of my favorite styles of Keds are the Champion sneaker (which has laces) and their Champion slip on sneaker which is very similar to the Vans slide on sneaker.

Roxy Bayshore

I wasn’t sure about the Roxy Bayshore sneakers but they have this adorable slip on sneaker that has a Hawaiian tropical print and I just love that!

They also have two colors in an athletic mesh style that would be great for every day and are similar to the other brands.

Thank you so much to everybody who sent in their recommendations! I know what my favorites are, but after hearing everybody talk so highly of Vans, I am officially influenced! I’m going to have to get a pair!

Was there a brand or style of sneakers that you hadn’t thought you’d like before but now you’re interested in? Tell me in the comments!
