Accessory Switch

I am super excited to share this fun and versatile look with you guys today for my Thrifty Thursdays find. I got this piece a month ago with my other Ann Taylor Loft corduroy skirt. I hadn't been able to figure out what top I wanted to wear with this skirt. I knew I wanted a white flowy blouse, but I just wasn't able to find something in my closet that worked or had time to pick out a new one yet. I'm looking for a very specific style. It takes time to find good quality pieces that will work with more than just one outfit. It's OK to work with what you have (fake it till you make it) and pick up what you love when you find it. So anyways, I was trying on random stuff and found that I really liked the way black complemented this neutral colored skirt. I have paired it here with a loose black high neck tank but I think any style would do. The unique thing about this look I've created, is you can dress it up or down with a quick accessory switch.

The first necklace is very bohemian and casual. It is a Premier Designs piece. I love this necklace because it adds personality to any and casual outfit. With this style, it makes it more fun and laid back.

The second piece is also Premier Designs, but it's much more rocker chic and edgy. This necklace, I think, works best with a high neck top because it looks like it could be part of the collar. Therefore, it makes the shirt look more sophisticated and detailed. I especially love these color combos together with this big bold chain necklace. Normally, I would've changed the shoes to make it more dressy by adding heels, but we were doing a lot of walking so I just kept them as flats.
