June's Thrifty Challenge Winner

With Fourth of July celebrations this weekend, you might try thinking outside of the box when it comes to your fashion choices. I usually don't think too hard about dressing for Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day anyways. Typically, I have tons of navy and and enough red in my closet to make something work.

But, if you're in need of a new look, you might try hitting the thrift stores! Especially on the nicer side of town, because they will probably have a good collection and more quality pieces. Take for example our thrifty challenge winner Natasha. The challenge for June was "best dressed”. As it's summer, I wanted people to search for the best “dress” they could find while thrifting.

Natasha was looking for a festive dress, and this just jumped out at her. She loved it from first sight. Plus, it was under $4, and went with a hat she already had. What a great find!! She purchased it at a thrift shop that supports the local women's shelter. She also donates to them, because of their great cause. 

The month of July holds a lot of meaning and significance for her family. She loves celebrating our independence! Also, her and her husband's birthdays are on the 12 and 13. So, lots of reasons to celebrate!
