The Best Lace Maternity Style for Fall
It's not often you feel glamorous during pregnancy. Maybe when you have your maternity photo shoot, but that's not an everyday feeling. You also won't likely be wearing those same clothes in your regular wardrobe, as they are usually special and sometimes quite scandalous.
I have found ways to look stylish (and make up always helps), but not necessarily glamorous. Until I found these maternity pieces from PinkBlush. You know what the secret is? Lace!
Lace is feminine, delicate, sexy and just plain lovely. Believe it or not, EVEN when you're 31 weeks pregnant! I saw these pieces and knew I had to add them to my maternity wardrobe. They are both perfect for the fall season, and instantly add a touch of glamour to any style. I chose to dress these pieces up a bit, but they could both be worn more casually.
I am in love with this maternity cardigan. Now, normally I would not invest in a maternity specific cardigan. I already have several regular women's styles that have been working quite well for pregnancy. But, I loved this cardigan from the moment I saw it, and I had to have it. I love the color, the fact that it's all lace, and it has the extra chiffon space in the back for a growing bump. Plus, I totally plan on wearing this piece postpartum. So not only is it gorgeous and glamorous, but I can also wear it beyond pregnancy. That makes this cardigan a must have! (They also offer this cardigan in black & teal)
This was another piece that I had a very similar style already in my wardrobe. I have a cream long sleeve top with cream lace on the shoulders, that is not a maternity fit. I tried that top on recently, and it does not flatter a pregnant body, even though it is a loose style. This top, however, is made to flatter during pregnancy. I love the contrasting black lace with the cream base tunic. It's also very comfortable! This piece was so fun and easy to style. You could literally wear any color pants and cute fall booties. My favorite accessories for this style were the hat and oxblood wedges. I felt so high fashion and glamorous! (They offer this top in grey as well)
There were so many looks I wanted to create with both of these pieces, I was getting a bit overwhelmed. I thought about adding the choker to the cream tunic, and the hat with the lace cardigan. I also could have switched the bottoms on each outfit, and it still would've turned out beautifully! Plus, you have to think about all the makeup looks, and shoes that would switch up these styles too!
That's why every pregnant woman needs both these types of pieces in her fall maternity wardrobe. A darling cardigan that will go with everything, and keep the autumn chill at bay. And a glammed up tunic that will adjust to a growing baby bump. Bonus points if they're lace!! <3 Amanda
