Target's New Line 'Universal Thread' Review
I am loving Target's new line Universal Thread. It is supposed to be a dupe or copycat of the brand Madewell. Madewell has basic classic styles. And their jeans are really expensive. But they offer free alterations (and maybe monogramming?) for their rewards members. Their denim is supposed to be the best.
So, thank goodness for Target! They have made a similar line at a more affordable price for everyone who doesn’t want to spend $100 on jeans. I have only tried one style in the Universal Thread line and I did like them. But I already have so many jeans I couldn’t even think about getting anymore. But honestly, they seem the same as their other lines or even Old Navy jeans to me.
But I am loving their tops for spring. They have some great affordable cardigans and denim jackets too. I also love the striped pieces they’re coming out with. This line reminds me of the 70s a little bit. A 70s mariner coastal style, if you will.
I’m trying to class up my look since I am turning 30 this year. I love a classic plaid and stripes. And since I’ve got two young kids I don’t have a lot of time to get ready in the morning. My basics wardrobe will get me through and still look put together.
If you haven’t already, make sure you have the Target app. They have now combined the Target and Cartwheel apps. Cartwheel is sales you can only get in the store, with the app, so you definitely want that!! Target is already pretty affordable, which I appreciate, but if I can get even more sales, you better believe I’m going to take advantage of that!
